Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher / Kindergarten Teacher
 

Key Requirements and Skills:

 

  • A Qualified teacher with a Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or a relevant field.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum.

  • A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a Kindergarten setting.

  • Have a valid Teacher Services Commission Certificate (if applying from Kenya) or a PGCE or Qualified Teacher Status (for overseas applicants).

  • A valid Police Clearance Certificate or DBS (if from UK).

  • Basic tech literacy.

  • Good spoken and written English.

This includes reference checks with former employers and submission of a valid Certificate of Good Conduct issued by the Kenya Criminal Investigations Department (CID). Additionally, British citizens and those with previous employment history in the United Kingdom must provide a valid International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC).
